This ultra-light and reliable lock-back folder is the perfect everyday carry knife. The 3.3 inch non-reflective Blackstone™ coated 8Cr13MoV stainless blade is precisely heat treated and hand finished shaving-sharp for superior edge retention and performance. Double molded Zytel® handles feature rubberized TPR inserts for a secure, non-slip grip, even when wet. The double-sided thumb stud allows easy, one-hand opening and the pocket clip contours perfectly with the handle so it feels like an integral part of the grip. The Chasm is available in your choice of grey and coyote brown handles in both plain edge and 50% serrated.

Returning for a different Outdoor Edge Knife

I stumbled upon the Outdoor Edge knife brand at our local Hardware Store, Fitch Lumber. I purchased a few models (ignitro, slidewinder, others) and instantly loved the functionality and quality of the knives. The Chasm is a basic knife but no special features like most other Outdoor Edge products. In my opinion, anything less than 3.5" with a pocket clip should be slim, lightweight, and easy to carry. The Chasm seems to be a more sturdy pocket knife with a substantial handle, maybe for a better grip for hunting / game processing. I think its a bit bulky for camping, hiking, fishing. I love the Outdoor Edge lineup, my next purchase will be a Razor, but was not a huge fan of the Chasm.

Very nice I like all the knives I have got! Lost one, replaced it with same

Excellent knife

For its price point, it simply cannot be beat. It’s light weight, has a fantastic edge out of the box, fits comfortably in the hand, and best of all, it’s sharpens well. It performs way better than I expected, and I will definitely be buying more as my regular edc and game knife. Cheers!
