Do Outdoor Edge Products come with a warranty?
Each Outdoor Edge product comes with a Lifetime Guarantee to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Our knives are produced from stainless steel however "stainless" does not mean "rust proof". All stainless steels will rust if not cared for. Rust is not covered by warranty. Sheaths are guaranteed to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty becomes void for any product that is abused, disassembled, or lost. Outdoor Edge knives are quality cutting tools and should be treated as such. Any use of an Outdoor Edge knife other than cutting is considered abuse. Can I purchase replacement saw blades, sheaths, or other lost items?
We offer a variety of replacement items on this website. Particular items or item parts may or may not be available by calling 800.447.3343.
If I order online how long will it take to receive the order?
We typically process and ship online orders within 48 hours of receipt, during peak times such as fall hunting season please expect this to increase with no guarantee as to how long it can take orders to be processed. Depending on your geographic location from Denver, Colorado your order will typically be delivered within 7-10 business days, during peak times such as fall hunting season please expect this to increase with no guarantee as to how long it can take for orders to be delivered. Outdoor Edge does not ship internationally.
How do you care for Outdoor Edge knives?
Outdoor Edge produces quality products that must be properly cared for as you would your gun, bow or binoculars. All knives require sharpening after extended use. We recommend touching up your knives periodically instead of using them to the point when they become completely dull. After field use, wash each knife by hand using a soft cloth, warm water, and liquid dish soap. Do not use steel wool or a scouring pad as it will scratch the blade finish. Note that "stainless" does not mean "rust proof". All stainless steels will rust if not cared for and rust is not covered by warranty. Be sure to completely dry each knife before placing in a dry sheath. Storing knives in a wet sheath will cause the blades to rust. Treating the blade with a rust inhibitor such as Tuf-Cloth by Sentry Solutions will greatly reduce the chance of rust forming on the blade.
What steels do you use?
We use a variety of stainless steels in our knives including AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV, 420J2 and 440A. For more information please refer to the individual product listings.
What is your return policy?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product for a full refund within 60 days of purchase. Any products returned must be in the same condition you received it in. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
