How to Change the Blade on Your RazorEDC Lite
The RazorEDC Lite uses Outdoor Edge's RazorSafe® push-button blade change system — no tools, and under 10 seconds.
- Open the knife fully and lock the blade in the open position so the blade holder is exposed before starting.
- Locate the blade release button on the handle, near the pivot.
- Press and hold the release button while sliding the blade forward and out of the holder.
- Wrap the used blade in tape or use the original packaging before discarding.
- Slide a new 350-series blade in from the front, aligning the tabs with the channel. Press until it clicks into the locked position.
- Deploy the blade fully and apply light lateral pressure to confirm the blade is seated securely before use.
Safety: always point the knife away from your body during blade changes.

These OE EDC knives look amazing, feel great and the blade system is like none other! That’s were the greatness pauses on this design though. I prefer thumb pegs to open knives, it leads to half of the one handed operation. That’s until you have to flip the knife over and push the blade break on the back side of the handle. Then there’s the pocket clip which is upside down preventing a simple pull and open motion. I’m also on the fence with how much of the handle remains out of the pocket; it seems nice to pull but I also notice it catching on things as I walk by. I was really hoping for something to replace my old S&W as an Every Day Carry but instead I think I have a simple Every Day Paper Weight… despite that, I am still a huge fan of Outdoor Edge knives

I've carried this knife daily for about 8 years. This definitely unequivocally the sharpest cutting tool you could hang in your pocket. I use a knife frequently and and the blades are easily sharpened right back to razor sharp. I have put this knife to the test and through no fault of the knife (my abuse) it's now missing the thumb assist and I did a little welding on the blade holder and still use it everyday I feel naked without it.

Bought knife a month ago and also picked up a pack of replacement blades .blades are very sharp and changing blades are easy. Sharpened the knife using a Bavarian edge knife sharpener and I may never or for a long time need to swap out blades.like the knife so much I picked up another one. Very practical knife for many uses and would make a nice wood carving knife.

I like the changeable blades but do not care for the way they are mounted into the handle. When using it to attempt to open a letter the outer part of the blade carrier kept getting hung up on the envelope.
These razors are awesome . I can sharpen a knife but I can’t sharpen to a razors edge without consuming a bunch of time . In about 15 seconds it’s done . I’ve bought a few different models and have given them to my crew . They seam as impressed as myself with these knives
Have had this knife for over three years. Just swap to a new blade about once a year, no need to worry about sharpening. Does everything I need it to. Had the screws start backing out on me, filed a warranty claim and they got back to me with a day and are sending new screws to replace. No questions asked. Will be sticking with this knife for years to come! So glad a mentor turned me into this brand!

The blades do not hold a edge at all, you cant even cap one deer head
these knives are the very best!! bought 5 back in dec for christmas gifts just purchased another for a birthday gift!! blades stay sharp for a very long time!! Love them next purchas will be one for me!! got my eye on the mini!!

These blades are no good. Used knife first time on deer, blade didn’t make it through skinning one deer, cutting edge bends and it won’t cut anymore. Contacted outdoor edge, and they sent me 6 more blades, said the batch of blades were defective. Tried new blades this season and blades are the same cutting edge is too thin and if you hit bone or anything hard edge bends. Takes more then one blade to skin a deer.

I popped it open but have no idea how to close the blade again. No instructions outside of changing the blade. It's pretty useless to me now. I'm really hoping someone could explain it.
Cathy-Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Sorry you are having issues closing the knife. This design is a lockback. Try pressing the silver bar on the backside of the knife.
