INNOVATIVE IN-HANDLE BLADE STORAGE

Never has there been a replaceable blade knife that is capable of storing spare blade in the handle. The Razor APX features removable scale that hold 2 drop point blade in each side. The system is composed of a magnetic retention plate, securly holding the spare blades, and a temperature resistant silicone cover to protect the blades during transport. The system is held in place by 3 assembly screws and can quickly be removed for a lightweight approach.

When you notice the knife dulling, push the blade release button, removing the old blade and inserting a new blade into the blade holder until you hear an audible click, which is the balde seating into the locking mechanism. Blade changes are safe, easy and reliable. Never sharpen your knife again.

How to Change the Blade on Your Razor APX

The Razor APX uses Outdoor Edge's RazorSafe® push-button blade change system — no tools, and under 10 seconds.

  1. Open the knife fully and lock the blade in the open position so the blade holder is exposed before starting.
  2. Locate the blade release button on the handle, near the pivot.
  3. Press and hold the release button while sliding the blade forward and out of the holder.
  4. Wrap the used blade in tape or use the original packaging before discarding.
  5. Slide a new 3.0" blade in from the front, aligning the tabs with the channel. Press until it clicks into the locked position.
  6. Deploy the blade fully and apply light lateral pressure to confirm the blade is seated securely before use.

Safety: always point the knife away from your body during blade changes.
