Great Knife — But Why No Sheath?

I think this knife is phenomenal. It stays sharp, is easy to sharpen, and has helped me process dozens of elk over the years. I used to be a hunting guide, and this has become one of my favorite boning knives I used.

But I can’t wrap my head around why it doesn’t come with a sheath. Every other Outdoor Edge knife I’ve owned came with one. I like this knife so much I still carried it in my backpack with a makeshift sheath — which it eventually cut right through, along with my pack. It’s sharp enough to do that, which says a lot about the blade, but not having a sheath just doesn’t make sense.

Fantastic knife overall, but please, Outdoor Edge — include a sheath!
