PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The ultimate hunting knife! The RazorPro is a double-bladed knife for big game with our patented replacement razor-blade knife on one side, plus gutting blade on the other to open game like a zipper. This is the sharpest, strongest, replacement razor-knife available with blades that change safely and easily at the push of a button. The black-oxide coated blade holder supports the razor-blade for the strength of a standard knife and sharpness of a surgeon’s scalpel. Our signature gutting blade cuts underneath the skin without cutting hair, or piercing internal organs that can spoil fresh game meat. Both blades open and close independently with one hand and lock securely. The Razor-Pro comes complete with six 3.5” Japanese 420J2 stainless replacement blades and a nylon sheath with pockets to hold both the knife and spare blades. Replacement packs of 6 blades are sold separately. Rubberized TPR handles are available in black with a black nylon sheath and blaze-orange with KRYPTEK® camo sheath. The blaze-orange handle is easy to spot on the ground, saving valuable time in the field while preventing loss.

Replacement blades dull easily

When I first bought the replacement blade knifes about 5 years ago I could skin and bone out about 2 deer with one blade. Now I have to use 3 replacement blades to skin one deer . The quality doesn’t seem to be nearly as good as it was!

love the knife had it for over a year and put it to work! knife works great cutting and skinning. Only downfall is if you're not taking your time or paying attention the blade can easily detach from the handle. Annoying and potentially dangerous but not too often it happens. Another thing I noticed is the blade dulls out pretty quick I understand that it's supposed to be replaced but would be nice for it to last longer, maybe charge more and make a thicker blade or higher quality metal? I also recommend maybe making a knife sharpener for this blade/knife that way you can make the best use out of the blades the consumer already has, almost feels like a waste for not using the blade as much as possible. Besides that love the knife still use it to this day for every thing from hunting to making meals to even using for work. I can easily see this becoming more than a simple knife for hunting or simple use. Imagine you make different handles and blades for professional chefs or construction workers needing a reliable quick knife and don't have the time to sharpen. Sky is the limit with this knife. Another recommendation is customizing the knife. I know there is a broad blade available would be awesome to be able to use different types of blades on one handle for example a trailing point for fish, a straight end, talon point, recurve or even a kukri point and etc. I also would love to be able to swap out the handle its self. I purchased a orange handle version great if you dropped it or misplaced it, but after a while its kind of ugly and gets dirty. Hard to clean the marks off the rubber that is used. Would be awesome to be able to swap it out for wood and all of its colors for options or harden plastic or even metal. I feel like it would be more part of the owner and hold a more sentiment value. Either way its an amazing knife keep up the good work.

My favorite knife except for release button placement.

Love this knife. After 5 years and countless animals quartered and skinned the blade holder finally broke while boning a bull for my brother in law in Wyoming last week. Will be ordering a new one today. My only complaint and only reason i gave it 4 stars is that the button to release the blade is in a bad spot. Every time I am gutting or skinning it is inevitable that my thumb is going to hit that button while working and the blade is going to slip out. If they could figure out a different release mechanism this knife would be 5 stars in my opinion. All that being said I am buying another one and it’s still my go to knife in the woods.

Impossible to use !!!

Blade slips out of knife !! Trued to open a package and can’t cut with it ! Tried to cut piece of rope and blade wont stay in knife !! Knife not dirty tried new blade same thing !!
