Frequently Asked Questions

What blades are compatible with the RazorPro L?
The RazorPro L uses Outdoor Edge 350-series 3.5" replaceable blades and ships with six drop-point blades included. Replacement blade packs (12- and 30-counts) are available on outdooredge.com and at major sporting goods retailers.
How do I change the blade on the RazorPro L?
Press the blade release button on the spine of the blade holder while sliding the dull blade forward and out. Slide a new 350-series blade in from the front until it clicks into place. No tools required, and the process takes under 10 seconds.
Was the RazorPro L previously called the RazorLite?
Yes. The knife formerly sold as the RazorLite (models RL-10 and RB-20) is now the RazorPro L. It is the same 3.5" replaceable-blade folding knife; only the name has changed.
What is the difference between the RazorPro L and the RazorPro G?
The RazorPro L ($44.99) is a single-blade knife with a 3.5" replaceable blade, ideal for field dressing and skinning. The RazorPro G ($64.99) adds a fold-out gutting blade that opens hide without piercing the innards. Both use the same RazorSafe 350-series blade system.
Does the RazorPro L ever need to be sharpened?
No. The RazorSafe system is designed so you replace the blade rather than sharpen it. Each blade is factory-sharpened from Japanese 420J2 stainless steel; when the edge dulls, press the release button and swap in a fresh blade.
Is the RazorPro L good for field dressing and skinning?
Yes. It is purpose-built for it, with a 3.5" drop-point blade for controlled cuts, a non-slip rubberized TPR handle that grips when wet, and factory-sharp replaceable blades. It weighs 3.6 oz and includes a nylon belt sheath.
What does the Service for Life guarantee cover?
It covers defects in materials and workmanship. If your RazorPro L fails due to a manufacturing defect, Outdoor Edge will repair or replace it at no charge. It does not cover normal blade wear, misuse, or damage from sharpening attempts. Contact 1-888-249-6942 or outdooredge.com.
