The tip on my drop point blade broke about 3/4 of an inch down. Can I purchase a replacement blade?
Blade came very sharp l purchased this for the combo blades asl already have the separate gutting knife and really like it
This way l can carry just one knife and only have to clean one when I use it
I reviewed this on the USCCA's "Guns and Gear", "Knives" subcategory. This might be the BEST all-round hunting knife you can get today! The one feature MISSING is a thumb-sized (1") CHOIL, and a matching, shallow, concave jimped area on the spine, for more control when making precise cuts. As it is now, the blade's short ricasso would extend this choil onto the edge, creating a sharp corner that has to be beveled. The SHEATH is the BEST I've seen for ANY knife - rigid but flexible - its molded liner and bonded, overmolded CHAPE provide complete protection for the sheath and wearer. The only feature missing is a "dangler" - the body and drop-loop should be separate, connected to a sturdy "D"-ring - allowing the knife to hang below the belt-line, where it can swivel when walking, or move aside when sitting. This feature would also make it easier to draw and sheath the knife. I've been ranting and raving for years about the crummy leather and nylon clunkers we have to accept with otherwise good knives. Your use of cryo-quenched blades is commendable - some level or degree of parity with "super-steels" can be reached from this process. And there you have it - BEST REGARDS - KURT SMITH - Akron, Ohio
Best knife I’ve owned
I've used this knife since it came out for deer and elk. Didn't even sharpen it for 2 years and still had a great edge. Never had a problem with it. It's my go to knife. Used on a few fish as well. It was recently stolen so I'm here to buy a new one.
Love this hunting knife
Xmas gift for my husband. This is the 2nd one I've gotten him and my dad uses this knife as well. They both love them for dressing out deer! Highly recommend.

Great knife, I previously used the flip n zip. This is just easier the folding blades back in and opening another. I knew I should have bought this one first! Now I have both.
I purchased the swing blade for a friend. I have had the set, swing blade and saw with leather case for several years. I like this knife and wanted to share with him before he bought the knives with replaceable blades.
I prefer a good knife I can sharpen and use for a life time. The swing blade is just the knife for me.
Great product, my husband and son already had a swing blade, they loved them so I got 2 more for Christmas gifts. Didn’t work out the way I planned…. They each have 2 now.
Awesome knife! Great sharpness on both blades makes for fast clean field dressing.
I was gifted the Swing Blade a number of years ago as a Service Award. The AUS-8 is a good steel. I have field dressed many White Tail deer with it and I have not sharpened the knife yet. You do need to be careful when you swing between the two blades. I will pass the knife to my Son when I can no longer Deer hunt due to my age.
The functionality while unique doesn’t completely offset the durability of the knife as a whole. The edge adequately maintains its sharpness as the handle slowly deteriorates. At approximately 8 years old the orange handle appears to exceeded its cohesion. While mine has turned to the consistency of paraffin I recommend a more traditional bone or wood handle hunting knife.

While the older models do have a rubber handle coating that has been shown to break down over time, we stopped using that material some time again and our newer models have a hard plastic handle. The 2 knives I purchased are for gifts for guys that were introduced to working up deer with a SwingBlade, 1 was a mule deer in Colorado and the other a whitetail in West Virginia. I consider this knife to be the best of combination of design and good steel. I currently own 2 or 3 of my own and have given another for a gift.
