I processed Dove last year with no problem, but when I got into bigger game and it’s chicken, which is no different than duck. I started having problems binding up, wouldn’t retract. And became useless. I don’t know if there is a improve design, but you would have to prove it to me before I bought these again.
Thanks for your review. That's an issue that we cover under our lifetime warranty program, so our customer service team will be reaching out to get you a new pair. We'll have you back to full processing speed in no time!
Great product, my replacement pair.
Well made, super sharp, haven't cut any game with them yet.The bone breaker works well according to wife
I love them good caulity heavy duty. Thanks
I haven't used them much yet but they are sharp and appear to be durable. Only 4 stars because I don't like the latch that keeps them closed on the back, that could be designed better.
Very happy with my purchase!! Excellent knives for processing my turkey’s and chicken’s with. I will definitely go back to Outdoor Edge for all my poultry needs!! Thanks again
I’ve been using outdoor edge game sheers for three years now I use them on ducks, geese , pheasant and grouse and they still work flawlessly! Along with many many other outdoor edge knives big fan of this product it works and works well and never have had to file a warranty claim.
Have had these for a few years. Worked great for the first year or 2. Now they bind, pinch and just don't sever bone as they should because of it. Not sure on sharpening them or not. Not sure if it would help wit the binding and not springing back.
Will end up buying another pair I guess. When they work they are the best shear on the market
A place to claim on a set of Game shears and I can tell you Outdoor edge stepped up to the plate. They sent the latest design replace my old pair very satisfied.

Awarded 3 stars initially. Have not had the opportunity to use them. Quality seems to be good. Latch to keep them secured is poorly designed. Needs to perfectly aligned in order to perform it's task. I will update this review after Dove season.
