“ Get Real “

I liked the idea of a fixed blade-knife with a replacement blade. O. E. Has nailed it with this one. We have all used utility knives, this is the hunters version. I own many high dollar knives and just love them until they get dull, this is where O.E. Shines !

Question before I buy another great knife

Iv liked the razor max for 3 years.. its time for an even better knife and sheath will the new htx knife and sheath fit the 5 inch boning blade or fillet blades

Hey there, glad to hear you've enjoyed our knives for years. As the product page explains, the 5.0' boning/fillet blades will fit into the 3.5' HTX. However, I'm not sure that the knife would fit in the sheath with the 5.0' blades attached, so you may need to switch back to a 3.5' blade in order to use the sheath. Hopefully that helps!

Overall nice knife

Handle feels very nice in hand, like the saw lock feature to lock the blades in and saw blade.

Only downside I can see is that the sheath will only accommodate the standard blade, you can’t sheath it with the saw blade. Would like to have the saw blade installed in the sheath for trimming small branches while setting up a treestand.
