How to Care for Your ErgoMax Knives
Keep your ErgoMax knives field-ready with a simple after-use routine.
- Rinse and hand-wash each blade with warm, soapy water after use.
- Dry each knife thoroughly with a towel right away to protect the edge and coating.
- Run each edge through the included two-stage sharpener (coarse carbide, then fine ceramic) as needed.
- Return each knife to the clear-lid case so edges stay protected and organized.
Care tip: Avoid the dishwasher to protect the edges.

I bought a set for myself and two as gifts for Christmas in 2024. I paid $99 per set. I can't believe the price went up to $109 in less than a year. Great set of knives, but that's ridiculous.

I dont ever write reviews but I was so impressed with these knives today I came here to write one. Couldn't find my knives packed away from moving and shot a deer on opening day so I stopped by a local outdoor store on the way home from working looking for a fillet knife. They were out and said they only had this set in stock, I grabbed it thinking they would be wal mart quality and would need sharpening once I got home. Got home late and raced to get my deer processed before it got dark so jumped right in with them out of the box. When I say they cut through everything like butter, worked like magic, and were RAZOR sharp the entire process and I mean SHARP I TOUCHED the top of my thumb by accident and it nicked through my rubber glove and gave me a paper cut kiss that drew blood. I was extremely surprised and impressed by these knives and told my buddy there with me about a dozen times over with him agreeing. Definitely recommend 10 outta 10 from a backyard butcher in MT. Get yourself a set!
