Very handy tool for field dressing Deer and Moose. I only wish is was stainless steel. Make sure you clean and dry it soon after use.

LAST YEAR WAS THE 1ST YEAR WE USED THE STEEL STICK. IT WORKED GREAT. NO MORE DO WE HAVE TO LOOK AROUND FOR TREE LIMB OR A CORNSTALK TO SPREAD THE RIB CAGE. ALL OUR GUYS CARRY THEM NOW

I have had one of these rib spreaders for 5 years, and I use it every deer season here in Colorado.
You could not find a better product to use to open the ribs and chest cavity to clean out a deer or elk.
It weighs almost nothing and easy to carry in a backpack.
Very well made, easy to use, and should last forever.
I just ordered 3 more for my Grandsons.
