Broke gutting first deer. November 22, 2012
Reviewer: Greg from California
I got this knife set at a local sporting goods shop just before deer season this fall.  I filled my deer tag, and attempted to make use of my Flip n' Zip Combo knife set, and the gutting knife folded backwards on my hand, and continued to do it, rendering it useless.  Fortunately, I had an Outdoor Edge swingblade that I've had for several years that I could use to dress the deer with.  This Flip n Zip didn't even last through the very first cut along the breast.  Don't buy it.  Stick to the Swing Blade.

Gutting Blade October 24, 2012
Reviewer: Jaime Solis from Pharr, TX United States
Bought  the swing blade series knife two weeks ago Ive used it to skin a few hogs and the gutting knife is already chipped and now having a tough time using that part of the knife. All in all I really like the knife, just wished the  gutting blade would still be intact.

Quality product. February 8, 2011
Reviewer: D.H. Ralston from S.E. Alabama
Most well made knife I have held in a long time. Holds an edge a long time and never slips when bloody or wet. I gave all my other knives away and only use Outdoor Edge now. It took two uses of the gutting blade to learn how to work it and not fight it. If you insert it to deep at the back it wants to filet the whole animal. You literally use this knife to skin and de-bone if you just had no other knife. Just insert the tip about an inch or two and hold slight upward pressure as you drive the blade to it’s destination and it does all the work. Great knife and the saw works great too for it size.
